Intelagrid attends conference and participates in a panel that highlights the energy careers available in the Charlotte area.
LOCUST GROVE, VA, August 05, 2010 /Software PR News/ -- Intelagrid, LLC, the emerging leader in broadband standards-based smart grid and smart home products, today participated in a panel discussing energy careers in the greater Charlotte region. The event was hosted at the Harris Campus of CPCC as part of the Charlotte Regional Partnership's Charlotte, Energy Capital USA effort and brought together representatives from local energy businesses, colleges, and employment associations and was titled "Energy Careers for a Bright Future". Attendees learned about the career opportunities in the energy industry from both established energy companies and up-and-coming non-traditional energy companies.
Intelagrid COO John Espey spoke on a panel that included executives from Piedmont Natural Gas, Celgard, Shaw Group, and Duke Energy. The panel members discussed a variety of topics that relate to the various energy fields represented by each company. "I was very pleased to see the sheer volume of energetic and qualified job seekers. The quality and quantity of interest we saw in the audience speaks volumes to what Intelagrid views as one of the key strengths of the Charlotte region", said Espey.
