Peter Elias Named a VIP Member by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Business Consulting
Peter Elias handles policy and operational questions in situations that require a quick response
ANMORE, BC, CANADA, August 25, 2011 /Software PR News/ -- Peter Elias, Director of Setaside Solutions Inc., has been selected as a VIP member by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in business consulting.
During the course of his 30-year career, Mr. Elias has been distinguished by his expertise in the contracting and procurement processes as well as in the Government of Canada's legal contracting obligations in regards to all Northern Land Claim Agreements when contracting for goods and/or services in this region. In his sixth year as director, he handles policy and operational questions with regard to situations that require quick responses. Additionally, he develops specific software that helps all governmental organizations understand North Canadian legal requirements with all 23 differing land claims for those preparing to contract and procure goods and services, which are destined to be used in Northern Canada. Mr. Elias has done public speaking on behalf of the National Institute of Government Procurement in the United States. He has also contributed articles to various industry publications and, during the 1980s, worked as a senior procurement manager in wide area networking. He attributes his success to his patience and ability to learn quickly.
Mr. Elias received a Bachelor of Arts in public administration from Carleton University and an executive certificate in supply chain management from Michigan State University. In recognition of his work, the Board of the Materiel Management Institute honored him with a Lifetime Achievement award. Mr. Elias is a member of the Canadian Institute for Procurement and Materiel Management and former director of the Western Canadian International Cargo Handling Association, London, England. He looks forward to pursuing more challenging work in the coming years.
